PA CHIN HSIN: Literally, "The Eight Strands of the Brocade," this is one of the earliest texts of Chinese medicine based on principles thought to be introduced to CHINA by the Sons of Reflected Light. The "Pa Chin Hsin" is the first book that describes the working of the CHI, the vital life force that flows through the body, and to locate it in the lower abdomen. (See also T'ai Chi article).
